20-Point Tune-up and Maintenance Checklist
1. Check and clear primary and secondary condensate lines and pans
2. Visual inspection of the evaporator coil
3. Inspect condenser coil
4. Take operating pressure measurements to determine Freon levels
5. Cycle system and measure temperature rise and drop of A/C
6. Adjust belts and pulleys if necessary
7. Lubricate motors and oil accessible moving parts
8. Replace air filter if supplied by customer
9. Inspect wiring connections in A/C unit
10. Measure amp draw of evaporator motor
11. Measure amp draw and voltage of condenser motor
12. Measure amp draw of compressor
13. Test thermostat operation
14. Verify condenser unit is anchored to outdoor pad properly
15. Verify condenser unit is properly level on outdoor pad
16. Visually inspect disconnect for signs of wear
17. Visually inspect electrical whip for signs of wear
18. Visually inspect accumulator for signs of wear (if applicable)
19. Clean up surrounding area at completion of the work
